The COMPASS FAP (Fundus Automated Perimeter) is the first and only fully automated perimeter that monitors visual field tests with real-time confocal retinal tracking. Fundus-guided perimetry provides a reliable correlation between visual function and retinal structure. This leads to significantly more accurate and reproducible results, especially in patients with low compliance.
The confocal true colour imaging used for tracking is already well known through the EIDON. It offers additional advanced diagnostic and billing options beyond perimetry.
